Hey Sexy, Glad You’re Home From Work!

Most of the time your husband comes home from work and if he doesn’t announce his presence with a “Honey, I’m home” he’s the one to initiate any kind of interaction.  It’s like he needs to make sure that people know he’s there.

As a father, I can tell you that one of the most special things about my kids is that, while they’re little, they watch and wave to me as I leave in the morning and rush to meet me at the door when I come home from work at night.  They’re truly excited to see me.

Now, it’s true.  Usually the wife is attempting to get things in order, preparing the meal, or something along those lines, but imagine his surprise if every once in a while you went to the door when you heard him arrive and greeted him there?

Now, it could be that you just wrap him in a kiss, or you do a little planning and have someone watch the kids so that you can escort him up to the bedroom for… well, you get the picture.

The idea is to do something spontaneous (at least in his eyes) so that he knows how much you care…  I’m not implying that he doesn’t, it’ll just compound nice feelings if you recognize that he’s home and make it a point to celebrate his return.
