I'm single and just as careful. I do have guys who are friends but it's only prudent to keep those relationships at a certain distance - why would I put my heart out & relate intimately when there's no safety of commitment? We do things together like a family would: brothers and sisters, in a mixed group. With the girls, I intentionally build relationship by having coffees one-on-one, getting to know each other... with the guys, I don't do that.
